Lessons for my kids

You know you are a success as a parent when you look at your children and see they became better than you. Over the years, I have been learning and taking notes on lessons for my kids.

Life lessons

Whatever you do, be humble……  Never feel you are bigger than the next person even if you are.

Let JESUS be on your speed dial

Have dreams; dream big. As long as you got life in you, dream, dream, dream big. Your best is yet to come so dream big

When you get knocked down, get up, get up and get up again

      Be loyal

You can make it if you try hard enough

You gotta believe in something at every point in your life…..find something to believe in

Failure at any point in your life is inevitable but giving up is unforgiveable

Know that not everyone would have the same belief as you

For my boys…..Never start a fight but never leave a fight unfinished

Don’t follow the pack, be your own self

      Friends are good; have friends

If you can’t trust them with your wounds, they are your associates not your friend. A friend is someone who has seen all of you and still loves you and is able to stand with you. When you find such a person, hold him/her tight for that is a friend.

  6. Yup! I like the part about not following the pack but being oneself.

It takes great courage to stand out from the crowd. Thing is, be sure you are standing out for the right thing in the first place!

    Nice piece!
